The life I live in my head allows me to do whatever I want, which includes trying a lot of new activities. This is how I’m trying to live 2017. Initially I thought it would be easy, yet in reality it’s exhausting but manageable with some planning. Just in the first quarter I joined two… Continue reading Life on my Terms
Hey guys! Last month, I set a few personal goals that I’m in the process of achieving: Get the concealed carry process going, which included shelling out loads of money for two 8 hr classes. On top of applying for my license.Note: The costs weren’t too bad. Find a few local groups and clubs that… Continue reading Just Do It
A lot has been going on in the past month. I have been too tired to pick up my phone and blog!! But, I forced myself to get this post going.
This past month I did the following:
Planned and executed TWO company picnics;
Prepped and modeled in my first photoshoot;
Had TWO job interviews including a job shadow with the Vice President, President and the team of a private organization; and
Attended all of these wonderful events like Bachata lessons, fancy dinners and brunch at a French restaurant.
All of this wouldn’t have been so bad if the commute was more manageable -more spread out and not back to back. Each weekend of this month I traveled between 160 and 320 miles. That’s a maximum of 1280 miles added to my car in 30 days. That’s a lot of miles, but I’m happy this month is at an end. I really need to catch up on my finances in order to be ready for the upcoming Holiday shopping season.
I love my life. I am alive, I have an amazing support system, and I’m able to try new things. There isn’t much to complain about…yeah, there are a few knicks that could be straightened, but that’s life. I’m at the point where I’m trying to figure out if the corporate world is for me.… Continue reading Living Life to the Fullest

If it were a cable car, it would take about 25 trips to carry that many people. Click here to see the… Continue reading 2015 in review
When SOME folks talk/ post on social media about not feeling appreciated for their acts of kindness onto others and other folks not considering their feelings, all the while NOT ACCEPTING any shown appreciation and consideration of their feelings in various situations and decisions. 1) Ya need to think long & hard about who you’re… Continue reading What Really Grinds My Gears
Back in November of 2014, I created a (My Life) Priorities list. It consisted of: (a) Finding a higher paying, preferably full-time job; (b) Saving funds for future student loan payments; and (c) Finding for a replacement car. Today I have a full-time job with same pay as in November; I’ve saved little funds for… Continue reading (My Life) Priorities #2
